What is Reiki

Reiki therapy is a hands-on energy healing practice that helps assist in the regulation of the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. It is accessed to clear energy blockages and helps bring homeostasis back into the body. It allows the body’s self-healing mechanism to become activated and helps mind-body heal.

Reiki in the workplace/team

The most growth doesn’t happen when you are meditating or on a yoga mat. It happens after, amid a challenge, when you are frustrated, angry, scared, or just tired. It is here where you are doing something in a manner that makes you realize that you have a choice to change. This is when you learn you must do it in a way to become more compassionate. That’s when we have our breakthroughs.

We understand what it means to create a strong work ethic of integrity. We also know that our Reiki services for your place of business help hold up a corporate culture that integrates our values like Diversity and Inclusion, Equity and Equality, and helps you cultivate compassion as a practice.

Due to the high demands of business, many corporate teams may not have time outside of work for restorative health practices that cultivate compassion, like Reiki therapy, Yoga practice, or Meditation techniques.

Here, we can bring Yoga, Reiki, and Meditation to your organization and assist in your growth.

About The Founder

Rachel Ruth Corona is the founding director of the Pacific Coast Holistic Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed yoga, Reiki, and meditation services to vulnerable populations, including the unhoused and veterans. Rachel’s work is deeply rooted in her commitment to decolonization, social justice, and holistic healing, blending practices that address the mind-body-spirit connection while actively challenging systems of oppression.

Currently pursuing a degree in social work at Cal Poly Humboldt, Rachel integrates principles of cultural humility, anti-racist pedagogy, and decolonization into her practice. She is passionate about blending research-informed practices with holistic services to create lasting change for individuals navigating trauma and marginalization, and is actively building community around these values.

In addition to her work in wellness, Rachel is a mixed media artist specializing in acrylic art. Her pieces often combine vibrant layers of acrylic paint with upcycled materials, creating dynamic textures and unique compositions. Her art explores themes of transformation, resilience, and sustainability, reflecting her belief in renewal and the reimagining of possibilities. Through her creative process, Rachel seeks to communicate healing, empowerment, and the beauty of reusing what has been discarded to create something new.

Rachel is committed to fostering healing spaces that uplift and empower, offering kindness, generosity, and equity in all of her endeavors. As a mother and advocate for social wellness, her personal and professional lives are centered on building community, promoting decolonization, and supporting the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all.
